• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Possible to restore Linux Backup to Windows?

Hi,

i've got a little problem. My Linux machine is physically lost and i only got the last backup from Plesk 9.3 here and there was a decision to switch to windows plesk for the new one.

As the migration manager cant transfer the data from server to server (with one missing server) the questions is:
Is it possible to restore the linux plesk backup on a windows plesk server without extracting the tar archive and do all the copy and paste stuff manual ? ;-)

Thanks and regards

Bjoern

I think that much more better and easily would be install Linux Plesk with trial license (you can ask it from your sales representative), restore backup there and then migrate all to Windows Plesk.
