Hey all,

After an upgrade to plesk latest version deliveries to local mails are not working anymre and I got a lot of messages like this in the logs:
Feb 9 13:18:36 nd01 spawn[12445]: fatal: spawn_comand: execvp /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/postfix-queue: No such file or directory
Feb 9 13:18:37 nd01 postfix/spawn[28742]: warning: command /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/postfix-queue exit status 1
Feb 9 12:18:37 nd01 postfix/smtpd[28739]: warning: lost connection with proxy 127.0.0.1:10025

I got the postfix-queue file from this article:
http://forum.parallels.com/showpost.php?p=396040&postcount=43
and now I get this error:

Feb 9 13:39:44 nd01 pipe[16613]: fatal: pipe_command: execvp /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/postfix-local: No such file or directory
Feb 9 12:39:44 nd01 postfix/smtpd[16609]: disconnect from unknown[127.0.0.1]
Feb 9 13:39:44 nd01 postfix/pipe[16612]: 1C97E26E117: to=<xxx@xxx>, relay=plesk_virtual, delay=1.1, delays=1.1/0/0/0.01, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (temporary failure. Command output: pipe: fatal: pipe_command: execvp /usr/lib64/plesk-9.0/postfix-local: No such file or directory )

I am losing important mail and I want to know why does this happen and how come this supposedly good piece of software(plesk) can have such huge problems and make it's clients lose business?

Please advice me what to do, where can I find those files and what is the cause of this problem.

Regards,
Ciprian

Hi sounds like a broken installation. I suggest use the cli autoinstaller switch to qmail and then back to postfix, this will install all neccessary files for postfix.

Hey,

indeed this is exactly what I did and now all the files are back there.

Thanks for the heads-up!
