  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

[PPPM-2936] fault in migration manager since 12.0.18 MU#75

Thanks for the tip, but i never "just do something"

I use an old server as test server and i test every migration for every server on that test server first.
First of see what the errors are and fix them before the real migration. The test migration is done as many times as needed until the errors are gone. But mainly to see how long the migration will take so i can inform the clients.

All our servers are installed by cloning a perfect server with FSArchiver, so the test server can be re-installed in a few minutes if (read when) i mess that up.

It only costs me a bit of power and a plesk licence, but in the end it saves me a whole lot of trouble.

Regards
Jan

@Linulex, Jan,

I figured that already out, i.e. I was aware of the fact that you did some elaborate testing (as every should be doing, before migration).
