I marked the wrong option for the CMB and was installed with the upgrade. After upgrade, when a log in plesk i see this message: Information: Customer and Business Manager was successfully installed but it requires additional configuration. Click here to complete the installation.

I tried to remove following http://kb.odin.com/en/9327 unsuccessfully.

In the menu on the left not appears CBM itens, but this message not disappears. and when I click on the link displays an error page 404 - Not Found.

Hi, luizamorim

Could you please be as precise as possible in describing your issues?

I've gone through the following steps:
1. I installed clean Panel 10.2 without CBM.
2. I upgraded Panel 10.2 to Panel 10.3 and checked CBM to be installed during upgrade - as I understand, you had done the same by mistake.
3. After upgrade successfully finished, I found exactly the same link on my Home page in Panel and "understood" my mistake. I found KB article http://kb.odin.com/en/9327 with instructions how to uninstall CBM.
4. I went through the instruction step by step:
a. I skipped a number of the first steps because I did not see the mentioned links in left menu.
b. I disabled SSO service - "/usr/local/psa/bin/sso --disable".
c. I removed unnecessary packages - "rpm -e sw-sso plesk-billing plesk-billing-plugins".
d. I tried to remove a row in PSA database - "delete from cl_param where param='ppb-url';" but there were no such row, CBM is not integrated properly, it's OK, you saw the link to complete integration.

That all, now I do not see any messages on my Home page, I saw that packages are not installed in menu "Settings > Server components", I have no unwanted packages in my OS, I'm happy.
I'll update KB article to clarify some items which seems to be confusing now.

Lest's go!

1. I installed plesk Panel 10.2 without CBM.
2. I upgraded Panel 10.2 to Panel 10.3 and checked CBM to be installed during upgrade.
3. After upgrade successfully finished, I found the link on my Home page in Panel.
4. I found KB article http://kb.odin.com/en/9327 with instructions how to uninstall CBM. (I used this command in ssh # /usr/local/psa/bin/sso --disable)
5. I skipped a number of the first steps because I did not see the mentioned links in left menu.
6. I went through the instruction step by step: when I used the command "rpm -e sw-sso plesk-billing plesk-billing-plugins" I received this error message "error: package plesk-billing is not installed"
7. I tried to remove a row in PSA database - "delete from cl_param where param='ppb-url';" but there were no such row.
8. After all, I found the link on my Home page in Panel. (Information: Customer and Business Manager was successfully installed but it requires additional configuration. Click here to complete the installation.)

Thanks for your answer

Please do the following:
1. execute /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/packagemng - this will update components list cached in database

2. execute /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/packagemng plesk-billing and post here it's output
should be plesk-billing:not_installed
if so, check again your Home page

If it doesn't help then I'll need access to server via WEB and SSH to investigate the issue. You can post credentials to me via private message or you can contact our Support Team for that.

Hi folks,

if I click on the Link Business Setup -> All Settings in Parallels Plesk Panel as mentioned in the How to desintegrate Customer and Business Manager... article, I get the following message: "Warning: You have exceeded the number of customer accounts you can have in the system. Please upgrade your license.
The license key is invalid. In order to use the Customer & Business Manager, please obtain and install a new valid license key. Contact Parallels sales representatives to obtain the proper license key." How can I then remove the Component?

Thanks
Salami Charly

I know this is a more than a year old by know but luizamorim if you read this do you remember if it caused your Panel memory usage procent to get really high?

I get the same sentence "Information: Customer and Business Manager was successfully installed but it requires additional configuration. Click here to complete the installation." (not possible to complete the installation with a click)

and started a thread here due to my suddenly high memory usage that won't go down:

Anyone know what the difference in those steps than just running 'yum remove plesk-billing' in Putty.

I am a total newbie so appreciate any answer that can help me.

>yum remove plesk-billing
This will simply remove the package

Steps in the article do not require yum or apt-get and they do remove all components (plesk-billing, additional plug-ins and SSO) as well as remove database and config files.
