Problem with mailsender

Maikell

New Pleskian
Hi!

I have started the tool
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk --with-spam

(I had a problem with the webserver... The support said I should try this tool. It didn't help, but I managed to solve the problem)

Anyways...
After using this tool some mail-settings now are gone and I don't know how to restore them.

1.) Does this tool make a backup of the old settings before resetting them to default? Can I restore the old settings?

if not how can I solve following problem:

When the server send mails to the admins the senders adress used to be:
"[email protected]"
now the sender-adress ist
"root@s15349999. "
(s15349999 is the hostname)

How can I change it back, that the senders address is "@mail.DOMAINNAME.de" again?

Plesk Version is 10.1.1
The server:
uname -a
Linux s15349999 2.6.27.21rootserver-20090324a #1 SMP Tue Mar 24 04:59:16 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I hope you guys can help me!
Sincerly yours
Michael
