  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Problems after Upgrading to Squeeze

I recently upgraded from lenny to Debian Squeeze. I also updated the /etc/apt/sources.list, and also replaced the autoinstaller entries with squeeze.

root@server:~# cat /etc/debian_version
6.0.3
root@server:~# uname -r
2.6.32-5-openvz-686
root@server:~#

After running dist-upgrade my System was updated. In Plesk I tried to install thhe Update #13 for Panel 10.4.4 (this version was also installed bevore the upgrade in squeeze)

But I've the problem that the Autoinstaller fails with this error log:
http://pastie.org/pastes/3243834/text?key=1mvt8lfuwphpt57ownha

After running the Autoinstaller (from the Web GUI or manually in Terminal) the /etc/apt/sources.list get updated and replaced all instances of squeeze to lenny, also non-Plesk sources.

What can I do to fix this issue?

I had the problem "not found source for system packages" with the update from Etch to Lenny. The cause seems to be that the Plesk installer replaces the entries in sources.list with the old ones. Fortunately, it does this just once, so you should be able to update sources.list that it containts "squeeze" again.

At least this did the trick for me with Etch->Lenny.

btw: I found your thread as I want to upgrade Plesk 9 to 10 and then Lenny to Squeeze. Could you please provide further details if there is anything to look for when updating? The thread:
