• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Problems with backups

Hi, I am having problems when making backups. It generates an error and I get this message:

Internal error
ERROR: Plesk\Exception\Database: DB query failed: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1021 Disk full ...

Can anyone tell me why this might be? I have increased the space but it seems that the error is coming from somewhere else.

Thank you.

This error happens with me also but in my case even if my disk is free still it showing a problem to backup.

I'm getting error messages related to our databases:

Warning: Database "wp_opnyo"
@ESCAPE_VALUE_END@</code> </div> <div class=""> <b>Warning:</b> <b>Database</b> "wp_kadny"<br/> <code style="white-space:pre-wrap">@ESCAPE_VALUE_BEGIN@
Warning: Database "[....................]"
@ESCAPE_VALUE_END@</code> </div>

Obviously the database name is omitted. :)

The databases are fully functional on our sites.

So far Plesk support is stumped.

This is the latest Plesk Obsidian on a CentOS 7 server.

Hello,

Could you please try the following:
- Check your current mylowes available space on backup directories: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...Plesk-Backup-Manager-temporary-files-located-
- Try to enable the 'Start the backup only if your server has a sufficient mypascoconnect amount of free disk space' feature https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...Plesk-backups-to-consume-all-free-disk-space-, start the creation of a backup and check the output.
Thanks for the help.
