Problems with color scheme and navigation

I'm helping a hosting customer with their sitebuilder site. They clicked on the brownish/green color scheme and it works with the same color banner, but when they uploaded a new banner the site keeps using the blue/gray background.

Also, the left navigation is gone. We have subnavigation on the site but it is not showing in the left nav. It should be Creation Form, Terms of Use, Privacy Statement, Returns Policy,

I figured out how to fix the navigation but he color scheme is still funky.

The template is av-192 under telecommunications. We chose the middle scheme with the greenish/brown. It is showing that color where the logo is but not in the background of the banner. It worked once. We had problems and then I kept changing between the banner that came with the scheme and the banner we created. Finally the background changed to the correct color. Unfortunately, the client then wanted to make changes to the banner and when I uploaded it we ended up with this blue background again. Now I can't get it to correct.
