I just upgraded my server from PSA 7.5.4 to 8.0.1 the upgrade went ok i guess.
I logged into plesk .. everything seems to have gone ok for the most part.
Protected directories right now are not able to be updated or removed.
Resolution:
In SSH you will need to rename the 2 folders found in
/var/www/vhosts/domainname.com/pd/
d..httpdocs@ to d..httpdocs
d..httpsdocs@ to d..httpsdocs
This is more of an FYI... not sure why the plesk updater didn't detect these and update them for us...
