protected folders authentication issue

Q

quickie

Guest
I just upgraded to 8.3 and now my protected directory is hosed. After resetting my password on the folder, I was finally able to log in but once logged in, any link I click pops up the the password window. Looks like permissions are not being set folder wide.

Also, the username now includes domain\username vs. just username. Example, I used to type in admin now I have to type in yahoo.com\admin as the account name.

I am using IE7 with Plesk 8.3

follow up

this problem is occuring with Firefox as well.

Also once I closed IE7 and restarted, it asked for my password again. I have tried to reset it multiple times to no avail.

Please upgrade this issue to severe or whatever your ratings are. I cannot unlock this directory and must use the tools in it.

same here, come on swsoft, you took over WHA but pls keep producing a bug less plesk for windows finally. I guess you just added IIS7 support and win server 2008 and probably 100 more bugs will be discovered with time. I am really considering to pay few $K for a programmer to develop a exclusive cp for me.

Thanks

where the f'n support

Hey Plesk,

How about responding to a users problem. I'm still without authentication as are other users.

I truly regret the day I switched from CPanel.
