  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

QMail - Error 533

Good Day,

I recently upgraded from 8.6.0 to 9.5.2 and have found now that residents on our campus are no longer able to send email via our server and receive error 533.

"533 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)"

On 8.6.0 they would simply be authenticated via IP address. On 9.5.2 it appears this is not working. I have removed the campus IP address and reinserted it. This appeared to work, for a few hours, and then went right back to the same problem.

I upgraded the add-ons from 4PSA, Spam Guardian and Clean Server, to work with 9.5.2, and this worked for a while too but now again I am having the same issue.

Any help with this will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Thanks for the links.

I understand that my issue is "authentication" as per the first link, and I have our campus IP addresses in the whitelist as per link 2. This is exactly how it was setup with Plesk 8.6.0 when everything was working great. Upgrading to 9.5.2 then messed this up and it appears the authentication is no longer working. So I do not know what to do.

I have removed and added again our IP addresses, found it to work for a little bit of time and then land up right back at the 533 error.
