qmail MTA Question

I was having problems sending messages out but fixed that. I have changed the IP address of the plesk box to make the control IP address different from the hosted services. And forgot to change the qmail server greetings and reflect the PTR record.

Now my problem is and probably was before but did not really notice because I always tested with external e-mail servers like gmail, yahoo, msn to send outbound messages. I can not send e-mail to company.com hosted on another server on our network which is our main mail server internally not one for customers. All customers can not send e-mails to us for support issues. Everything is all NATed in a DMZ.

How can I create a route in the MTA that points e-mail directed to domain names hosted on other mail servers in our network to the private addresses versus the public ones that they get when doing a DNS lookup?

I guess I could create a separate DNS for the Internal but that's to much.

I know how to do it in exim and postfix how do you do it in qmail?

Any advice is appreciated!

I was asking b/c it does not exist. I guess I will have to use vi and create one. Is there anything I need to do on the permissions side for qmail sakes?

Thanks
