Issue removing node.js extension does not remove Phusion Passenger server

JulianDot

I have few servers where node.js was installed unwanted, behind my back .
Once i remove the node.js exension, the Phusion Passenger server is not removed , is still active

Why ?

Passenger may be installed, but it is inactive unless NodeJS was been fitted with at least one project. If you have not used NodeJS and removed it, Passenger is inactive. It is a component that may be used by other software, too, and as market research found that a very large group of users need stuff like NodeJS, it is present just as many other software libraries on the operating system.
