• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Mail server is not working well. Can not be retrieved, no connection.

Do you mean that you can't login to Plesk admin interface with https://domain.com:8443 ?
Have you tried to restart psa service in ssh session at least? Any related errors in /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log ? For mail server in /var/log/maillog ?

Hi Igor,
thanks for the help. It was not so easy. Have any tips tries in the forum. But has not changed. I then made a ticket. Your colleagues searched for a long time. Have then found the error and corrected.

Thanks again for the excellent help from the support team.

here the answer from Support

The issue was caused by stuck Plesk lockmanager.

Such behavior has been submitted to developers as internal issue with id #PPPM-4054; the fix is considered to be included in one of the next Plesk updates.

Please use the id provided for your reference.

The following steps were applied to workaround the issue:

1. Removed /usr/local/psa/var/cache/SharedLockManagerStorage0.1 file 2. Restarted sw-engine and sw-cp-server services

After that Plesk became available.
