  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Repeating migration

Hello there,

I have a 7.5.4 Plesk which I want to migrate to Plesk 8.3
I did this migration once, 2 weeks ago, but DNS has not been changed, so I need to repeat this..
At that time, migration went fine, all domains (except one) have been migrated succesfully
Now I go on the destination server, and I try to start a new migration..When I want to select the clients I want to migrate, they are all with red button besides, and it says that it will only migrate the account info, as domains are already on Plesk..
Now, the solution I thought is to make a backup of the domains on the new server (just in case, because the domains are running off the other server), then delete all domains, and do the migration again..
I am kind of afraid about deleting domains..They have shopping carts, they have a lot of databases, but I think there is not any other viable solution, or is there?

Thanks a lot,
