  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Replace Horde Groupware Webmail with full Horde Groupware

SilentWarrior

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I like to replace the horde webmail with the full groupware. Is this possible or have I to do a separate installation of the full groupware ?
Are there conficts if I have both installed but I need the groupware just for one user...

Have anyone this done already ?

Thanks

Ofcourse you can replace Horde with Groupware, however my best recommendation would be not to do so but instead install Groupware in a different folder ...Then you can redirect users to that folder by adding a redirect in the horde's index.php file.

You see, if you don't do this, then plesk might overwrite your horde files when it's updating ..and incase you need to roll back to plesk's horde, it might be to late :)

OK, thank you.
So I can install the groupware using the install documentation on the horde page with an eye on the directories.
