For WordPress site owners, threats posed by hackers are ever-present. Because of this, we are developing a new security feature for the WP Toolkit. If the topic of WordPress website security is relevant to you, we would be grateful if you could share your experience and help us test the usability of this feature. Repopulate Mail Users in Plesk

CraigD

New Pleskian
We recently had a bad install of Plesk and were forced to do a fresh install of Plesk. We re-setup the accounts based on info in the psa db and manually copied over their data. This has worked great except that none of the mail users are shown in Plesk. We use SmarterMail as our mail server and mail is working great and everything shows up fine within SmarterMail. Is there something we can do to repopulate the domain's in Plesk with their associated SmarterMail accounts?

I second this request because it would help us moving from 9.3 with SM7 to Plesk 10.
Since SM7 was unsupported it would make the migration easier.

I have done a few by hand:

Make a list of account names, backup the SM directory, delete the users in SM, create them in Plesk and copy back the SM backup. It worked but is not great.
