Issue Reseller creating service plan beyond his limit

Hello Support,

I wish to have one clarification. I have created the reseller plan for about 500GB disk space. Now, reseller was creating his own service plan for his customer. The plan A he kept 200GB and plan B has 350GB which is total of 550GB but we allocate only 500GB for reseller plan. While reseller creating his service plan he is able to overwrite the plan feature.

We have also disabled the overselling & overuse while creating the reseller service plan from admin console.

May I know the reason for this?

This is not expected behavior if Overuse and Overselling are not allowed. Could you please confirm the OS and the exact Plesk version of the server in question. Also, could you please provide the exact steps you have performed when facing the issue? Thanks in advance.

Hello Support,

Steps as below

1. As a admin I have created the reseller plan [Reseller-Plan-A] with disk space about 500GB
2. As a admin I have created the reseller [Reseller-Account] and assigned the plan to him
3. Now, reseller logged into his account and creating the service plan for his customer
4. During service plan creating by reseller, he is creating 2 plans

Plan-A with 200GB disk space
Plan-B with 400GB disk space

5. Both the service plans have saved without giving error that your service plan limited to 500Gb but you are creating your own service plan to your customer beyond the limit about 600GB [500GB is allocated by Admin]

Thank you for the provided details. If Overselling is not allowed selected - the reseller is limited by the sum of the disk space configured for the reseller plan - in your case 500GB. The reseller can technically create service plans exceeding the limit, however, if you try assigning the plans that collective exceed the said 500GB, Plesk will throw an error and won't let you to create the subscription that exceeds the limit. I.e. if you assign Plan A to a subscription A, and then attempt to assign Plan B to another subscription, you will encouter an error.
