• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Rollback Features

TairkH

Basic Pleskian
Hello,

I notice when there is a update for plesk panel that i wait for a while and look at the this forum if everything went fine.....
But when i reading a lot of problems i don't wanna update!!!!!

Because the is no rollback function in plesk.
So is it not better to make a rollback function in plesk when a update fails or goes bad that you can do a rollback in versions like yum downgrade :)

Hello TairkH,

Thank you for the suggestion. We understand the importance of painless upgrade. Unfortunately rollback feature is extremely troublesome and may bring much more problems then upgrade. We try a bit different approach to make it better - since next version we will clearly indicate whether an update is raw or stable. If you are willing to get new features sooner you can choose raw option, if you'll prefer them tried by someone else first you can do stable option. Hope it will address the problem.

Regards
