• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Roundcube Superadmin/Admin user login

Jondalar

New Pleskian
Hi there,

how do I log into the roundcube frontend with an Admin/Superadmin. I managed to install plugins so far, but I would like to use a management tool and not the CLI interface.

Is there a way I can get to this piece of roundcube somehow?

Cheers
Alex

I've just found out how to do it. You will need to DROP the table "plugin_manager" from your "roundcubemail" database using phpmyadmin (Home > Tools & Settings > Database Servers > phpmyadmin). You also need to delete the entry "myrc_plugin_manager" from the "system" table (same database).

Then try to login again to your webmail (using the account you wish to promote) and go to Settings > Manage Plugins > Administrators. You'll be asked to rename a file (.myrc) from your roundcube directory (/usr/share/psa-roundcube).

Enjoy!
