New Pleskian
Hi together,

ive successfuly installed an plesk on my vps server.
After an installation the plesk is running as root user.
Is it possible to change that ?
for security reasons i would like to run as non root user ?
Is it possible or normal that plesk is runnung as root user ?

It's not possible and not supported.

Plesk requires root permissions for so many things it does (think of installing/removing software packages, creating/deleting system users, configure/restart services and much more) that it's not worth to hassle around with sudo or other workarounds to make that all feasible.
