• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi Community,

is it possible to tell Plesk just sending mails from the FQDN that is set to the rDNS entry?
I have the Problem that my mails of my domains will marked as spam because of the rDNS answer.
Thanks

Pretty sure that isn't the reason if using the default settings and you have your hostname set correctly but you can change settings by doing the following:

Tools & Settings > Mail Server Settings > for "Outgoing mail mode" choose "Send from domain IP addresses" if you only have just the one domain or set to "Send from the specified IP addresses" and choose the IP address that has the rDNS configured for, that should and response

But it's going to be based off of the hostname.domain.tld you have set on your server. The alternative way is to edit the postfix config file directly (forgot what the setting was but it's hostname related).
