Setting up domain with external DNS

I am trying to set up a domain that has external nameservers. I have successfully set up the external nameservers to direct traffic for a subdomain to my Plesk-managed box but am getting the following error.
The reported Server Name (biomicrobics.iloveliquid9.com) does not match the authorized zone (this->).!
the domain is set up on that Plesk managed box:
Domain biomicrobics.iloveliquid9.com
IP address 74.208.9.70

any suggestions?
