• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

several questions before buying plesk

i would like to buy your software plesk suit 9.5
I have several questions about it that I would like to get an answer

1)Is plesk compatible with fedora 12?
If yes, then where it is said on the website?
Cause I only read on your website that it is only compatible to fedora 11.
If not, then when is the version will be ready for the fedora 12?

2) I see that in this package is already included a site builder for 100 domains, before that I have already bought the
site builder for 100 domains. Can I add 100 domains from the other site builder that I already have to this package that I will buy? If yes, then how can that be done?

3)If by some reasons this plesk does not work satisfyingly or if I dont like the way it works with my server, will I be able to return my money back and during what time and what amount will be returned at that time, fully or partially( that some money will be taken for the support and for the help and installation, etc...)

thank you very much for the answer

This is not really the right place to ask pre-sales questions. This is a user-to-user support forum more than anything else, and Plesk sales people do not read the posts. What you really need to do is contact [email protected] or the sales department of one of Paralells resellers (e.g. www.4psa.com). Igor, a Parallels employee, does read the forums from time to time and may be able to help, but really you should be talking directly with sales people.

You would be mad to install Plesk on Fedora, IMHO. A lot of people do, of course, but it is daft. Fedora is designed to change fast. You get a new version every year or so, which means that support for older versions stops quite quickly. You should really be thinking in terms of Centos 5, one one of the LTS versions of Ubuntu, which are supported for years and years.

You will not be able to "add" your purchased 100 domains to the 100 domains you get for free (not that I know anything about that -- I wasn't aware that that was the case). It doesn't work like that I'm afraid.

Faris.

Questions

It is always best to call the sales department and ask them questions regarding the distribution you wish to use but you should use CentOS for stability in backward compatibility issues.
