Hi everyone! Our Plesk team is working on improving mail management in Plesk, and we would greatly appreciate your ideas, opinions, or feedback on any mail-related tasks and issues you've encountered. Could you share your thoughts on the current mail management in Plesk and perhaps highlight the most important issues you'd like Plesk to address?

Thank you so much!

Hello, I think it would be good to implement official co-existence routines with Microsoft 365. We use that hybrid stuff quite often, by manually forwarding to internal M365 (onmicrosoft.com) email addresses.

Also automatic DNSBL monitoring for server IPs would be interesting.

And maybe mail relay configuration as well (e.g. configuration of smarthost,…)

Effective mail management in Plesk involves setting up robust spam filters, using secure passwords, and regularly monitoring mailboxes for any suspicious activity. Implementing DKIM and SPF records can enhance email security. Automating tasks like backups and updates helps maintain performance, while creating clear usage policies ensures efficient resource allocation and user compliance.

I ended up in this thread in an effort to understand how the smarthost relay options work on a Plesk server that are hosting multiple customer domains. We typically run these servers in our own datacenter, but are moving some into the cloud and looking at options to use a relay service like mailgun, smartgrid, etc., but not sure how that impacts all the domains on the system, what differences the customer might see, or if this is even the intent for smarthost in a multi-customer setup.
