Shared SSL and Preview URLs

I've searched this whole site using Google and cannot find the answer, have searched the internet and cannot find an answer - so here goes.

All of our servers, up until now, have used (Parallels) Ensim Pro as their control panel. However, as that control panel is now woefully out of date, we're thinking of using Plesk v9.2 for Linux on our next server. We have come across two problems with this.

We know that Shared SSL is available on the Windows version of Plesk 9.2, but does not seem to be available on the Linux version. Is this correct? If it is correct then would it be too difficult to be able to modify the install to provide Shared SSL?

We have heard that preview URLs do not work with sessions and cookies. Is this correct? If it is can that be cured? We mainly provide eCommerce hosting and must be able to set up sites before repointing which fully work.

Many Thanks - Rhea

Shared SSL - there is no support for this inside Plesk for Linux, it's been requested many times over the last few years (along with multiple FTP users) . There is no way to add it to the control panel yourself.

Preview URLs - correct, along with no support for dynamic URLs. So it's only useful for basic HTML sites. The only solution is to add an alias (of a working domain) to the domain you want to preview or edit your machines hosts file with the domain/server IP.
