• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Site keeps getting kicked out of dedicated application pool

ChrissB

New Pleskian
We are running Plesk version 11.0.9 and every so often a few of our hosted sites gets taken out of the dedicated application pool automatically, and for whatever reason when this happens the sites gets a "500 internal server error".

All I need to do to get it going again is to start the dedicated application pool again and all is well. I have searched around for why this might be happening, but so far I haven't found a single topic, thread, website, or anything at all even describing this issue.

Does anyone have any insights on this?

In that case I suggest you contact Support Team. Experienced supporters will find a reason and fix this problem directly on your server.

I tried resolving the issue with support but they had no answers. It's the reason I finally turned to the forums.

Incidentally, the issue happened again today. But this time the site didn't go down entirely, the admin login for Wordpress gave an "Access Violation at 0303C55F" error. Turning on the dedicated application pool again fixed the issue.
