I know, I'm a dummy :(

I have lost my ADMIN password... How can I get in to the ADMIN area to change it, reset it or retreve it...

Thanks

A bit late, but maybe someone else can use this.

If you can still access the SiteBuilder database the following can fix it for you:

Here is a default hash in 'pswd' column for default password ('sitebuilder')
mysql> select * from sb_users;
+----+-------+------------------+------+------------+---------+
| id | login | pswd | role | createtime | sb_type |
+----+-------+------------------+------+------------+---------+
| 1 | root | 35cafb7a7a7ea2ff | 1 | 0 | 1 |
+----+-------+------------------+------+------------+---------+
1 row in set (0.02 sec)

So, you need you run following query:

mysql> update sb_users set pswd='35cafb7a7a7ea2ff' where id=1;

Now login to sitebuilder with user 'root' and password 'sitebuilder' and you're good to go!

Hi jinxedworld,
Thanks for the reply.

I did manage to find my password in the end but this will be a great one to keep for future refrence :)

Awsome! Thanks jinxedworld

Hi 2 All.
For such users like Rookie :) in SiteBuilder3.0 will be a 'feature' "Forget Password".

Hello,

I had tried to recover my password and I am missing something :confused:

Following the FAQ I enter this command:

mysql> mysql -usb_user -psb_user sitebuilder -e

Then:

--> update sb_users set pswd=password('new_password') where id=1

After that, it remains the promt:

-->

I leave this shell using ^Q and nothing happens.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Greetings

Is pswd='35cafb7a7a7ea2ff' where id=1; and not password('new _password').

And you miss a ; at the end of the line
