• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

So I seem to be having a weird problem, been running Plesk now without updates or anything else for about 8 months. Everything has been fine and now in the last few days I seem to be having a weird problem. If I send a email to myself it can take upwards of 10- 20 minutes before it is delivered. Now is someone else in the company emails me I may not even get it.

So the twist is if I email someone else they get it right away or if they email me there is no problem. Nothing on the server has changed but I have this new problem.

One thing I have noticed that probably indicates that it isn't a Ples thing is that I can login to webmail and the emails seems to deliver but if I am using Outlook there is problems. So I guess this is a Outlook problem I have.....

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

IC

On the client PC, try disabling any/all firewalls and antivirus/antispyware/antispam/antiadware programs (just to do short time testing) and run a couple of quick tests to see if any of them are the source of the problem.
