I wish to evaluate Smartermail on Plesk before purchasing a licenced copy.
I have a licenced copy of Plesk 7.5.6 running under a Virtuoso VPS.
I have installed SmarterMail 3.0 from the smartertools.com web site. It is running the free version (1 domain).
I restarted the VPS server after the installation and I can manage SmarterMail using its web management interface. I'm using the SmarterMail web server, not IIS.
However I can't select SmarterMail in the Components Management control panel of Plesk, it's listed as not installed.
Is there another step I need to take to get this to work? Does it not work with the free version of SmarterMail? Do I need to remove MailEnable first (how?)?
