SMTP inbound queue

Ok not having any fun!!

AND I THOUGHT PLESK WOULD BE BETTER THEN HELM! HA

I am getting a little annoyed at somethings in plesk.

My mail is still getting stuck!!

Does Sw-Soft read these posts?

I have no clue, i have been running for the past few weeks with Kaspersky disabled and everything has been fine.


I do have Symantec AntiVirus Corp Edition installed but I don't believe its scanning my mail, wish Kaspersky would work.

Kaspersky is definitely the problem. After uninstalling it and going back to DR. Web all is fine and mail is flowing.

If you run your kaspersky from the command line you will see that the license is expired and all attempts to do anything causes a timeout.

Really nice of swsoft to allow this without any error reporting on something as crucial as virus protection.

If anyone has paid for the kaspersky add on I'd be interested to know if that eliminates the problem. I'm pretty sure that it is just a no license issue and not a malfunction of kaspersky. I use it on the desktops and it rules.

I have the same problem sinds today.
Already upgraded to plesk 8.1 from the moment it was there.

Now mails are not proccessing anymore.

Who has a sollution

I tryed everything that is in this thread.

I enabled DrWeb over the weekend and it has been working fine. Not sure why everyone else is having a problem, seems like kaspersky is the issue now.

SAVCE scans all files as it hits the drive; If i send a whole bunch of mails while im logged into the server i can see them all scan and send.

So... I seem to have the same problem on one of my servers. Thing is that the server had Kasperky ages ago, but it was uninstalled after a few days. I use Dr. Web now (DrWeb 4.33.0.10050, last update: 16.01.2007, additional license for it) but sometimes the SMTP queue just hangs.

To temporarily fix it, I only have to restart the Plesk Management Service, not the whole server or any MailEanble services. I'm running the latest MailEanble version (1.981) as all the previous version have security vulnerabilities on the POP3 service, however, I think the problem is caused by Plesk, not by the mail server.

Also, the MTA pickup event in MailEanble is enabled, but the 'Program to execute on mail file' is empty. Is that normal?

Also, most of the the entries in C:\PROGRA~1\SWsoft\Plesk\MAILSE~1\MAILEN~1\LOGGING\MTA\MTA-Debug-070117.log are like this:

As you can see, between 03:15:31 and 04:10:54 no email was processed by the MTA agent (until I manually restarted the Plesk Management service).

Any ideas? I would really like to keep Dr. Web as an AV solution (since I payed $200 for it), but as a last resort, I can switch to ClamWin, as it's running fine on the other servers I have (there is a bit of load of the server when it scans, but I guess I can live with that).

Also, I'd like this fixed now, not in Q2'2007 when SWsoft "plans to improve it".

No email was processed by the MTA Agent between 00:19:41 and 05:00:24. The only reason it started processing after 5:00 is because I have a scheduled task that restarts the Plesk Management Service.

I'm getting really worried about this...
 
I also found when I have hung email, when restarting the Plesk runtime service - it appears to process emails.

THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!

Where is SWSOFT?
