SMTP Timeout

Hello,
Plesk 7.5.2 on RH3.

I'm having a problem where Plesk/Qmail is hitting a couple of mail servers that are down and Qmail does not seem to roll to the next mx record. Any idea why?

This is a known but not very visible issue in qmail and we are suffering from that too. We think that this patch could maybe fix the problem:

We have requested the patch to be included in Plesk and SWsoft support informed that it could be possibly available in version 7.5.5. We'll see if they include the patch and if it will fix the problem.
