SOA record email wrong when dot in email address

Superkikim

Regular Pleskian
Hi,

I have subscription users with email address like [email protected]

In the SOA record, it shows [email protected]

As I understood from what I read, the email in the SOA is expressed as first.last.domain.tld so I guess named is replacing the 1st "." with a "@".

Is there any workaround to this, beside of using an email address without a dot ?

normally, the responsible mail addr should be hostmaster.domain.tld- you have to escape a dot in the local part with \
