Space Disk Usage in account exceeded, Why?

educhip

New Pleskian
Hi friends:

I've a server with several accounts that contains websites managed with Plesk Panel. One of them, only one, shows exceeded the disk space quota. This isn't a big website, no big files, no big mail messages, none database... but the statics show space unllocated. I'd thought in the logs, but I'd downloaded the /www folder and 'd checked the size, 35 Mb. So I think the "busy space" must be in another part, but referred to this website.

I attach an image from statics plesk panel for this site, here shows "otros" 1,02 Gb. Someboy know where is this space?

Thanks and best regards !!

And where is your backup space?? i have the same problem with several domains.. but cannot find where is this space being used..

I am getting into the ssh panel and checking directly with

du -h

but not even close to what plesk says it's using..

go into any domain that is exceeding the space and click on "backup manager". if there is a backup, you should probably delete it.

but there is more:

1) it could be that your own server wide backup is being accounted for.
1a) either you remove them
1b) or you use an external ftp
1c) or you go into tools&settings->server settings and remove the options related to backups

Ok, thanks a lot for your help.. checked the backup option and that was th eproblem... just fixed that.. will see a way to do it offsite (offmachine) via ftp...
