SQL database access remotely

Hello,

While conecting to SQL database remotely using enterpise manager I get the error cannot connect to database when firewall on server is on.When I turn off the firewall I am able to connect successfully .

I opened the ports 1089 and 1443 which I read should be opened while connecting to database remotely but this didn't help.Could anyone let me know which ports are required to be open.

I have found out the solution.The port 1433 had to be opened in firewall:)
