  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Question SSL Cert (via Let's Encrypt) for MailEnable Webmail

WindowsSysadmin

New Pleskian
Hi All,

I have a suspicion that this isn't a thing - but here is the scenario:

Customer has MailEnable and uses the Webmail feature, they also use Let's Encrypt for their SSL certs, as such, they've created a cert for webmail.domain.com to secure their webmail portal.

Now, we've worked around this by jumping into IIS, changing the binding for that domain to run on HTTPS, Port 443 and applying the Cert.

Is there a way through the Plesk panel that the customer can do this? If not, can this be raised as a feature request?

Running Onyx 17.0
