statistics.exe using 100% cpu

I have a big problem with the web stats as its using all the available cpu.

I only have 1 website and 1 sub domain that collects stats and when they are due to be collected the cpu for statistics.exe goes to 100% were as its under 10% before hand.

This really is a big issue as all sites stop responding and start to generate errors, which is very annoying.

anyone got any suggestions?

the same problem here but more than 700 domains in IIS..
Any help will be great...

I have tried to install sp2 but after install I couldn't add new domain.
It gives a com error with "unable to create dump directory" warning....
??????

This is a bug in the statistics application. If you ask support they could provide you with an updated statistics.exe
