Statistics Problem

Hi, my statistics doesnt work. Neither awstats nor webalizer. It always says that the statistics haven't been started on the server yet page..
here is the error event.

Did you install last 8.1.0 update?
Also please set registry value
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\PLESK\PSA Config\Config]
"Debug"=dword:0x00000001
and find full error message from statistics.exe in Event Log.

Please don't forget to reset Debug value afterward.

how can i set this registry value?
im trying to add new dword registry entry to ............./psa config/config but 0X00000001 value is too long. I cant type it into the value box?

this is the last query that the statistics.exe makes before giving error..

Do you have original statistics.exe or not ?

yes, of course its original. Ive made a clear installation. but i restored old 7.6.1 backups. everything is working fine, except statistics..

and how can i delete all of my old statistics? maybe there is a problem about old statistics.. i want to reset all the statistics at once? is there any command to do that? or any other solution to that statistics problem?

Please, ask support, this is known Plesk bug, support must give you a new fixed statistics.

after a lot of post about a KNOWN PROBLEM, i got my new statistics.exe and its working slightly now. But still i couldt have Awstats worked! Webalizer sites are working very good, but the Awstats ones still showing the placeholder message.. do i need a new statistics exe?

i want to delete all older statistics of all domains.. How can i do that?

Do you use 64 bit windows and Plesk has been installed in c:\Program Files (x86)\...? In this case you should add read attributes permission to psacln group to c:\Program Files.

This is not required. The problem look like IIS is trying to find CGI script and require read attributes access to some folders.

I think delete all statistics isn't good idea. Instead of I can propose to decide problem. For example you should get filemon from http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/FileAndDisk/Filemon.mspx and find were access denied for w3wp process. Also you should check permission by reconfigurator\Repaire Plesk installation\Plesk Virtual Hosts Security.

Hi All,

I am having similar problems with statistics.exe. Plesk notifies me via email that the statistics.exe process has run, but the AWstats are not updated at all. On occassions it works. I am using Plesk 8.1 for Windows on a VPS.

I noticed that when it works it takes approx. 20 minutes to complete but when it doesn't it only takes approx. 2 minutes. I enabled debug as described in this thread and got many warnings as soon as I run statistics.exe:

Unable to get alias maltapark.com. real name
Execute file name: C:\SWSoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe
(Repeated many times... this is the problematic domain)

Unable to get alias amicode.com. real name
Execute file name: C:\SWSoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe
(Repeated many times...)

Unable to get alias rop.gov.om real name
Execute file name: C:\SWSoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe
(Not even my domain!)

Unable to get alias real name
Execute file name: C:\SWSoft\Plesk\admin\bin\statistics.exe
(Repeated many times)

The strange thing is that some of the mentioned domains are not even mine and there were more than one like this.

I tried reconfiguring plesk using the reconfigurator tool and then running statistics.exe manually but this did not help.

Any ideas?

i updated from 8.1.0 to 8.1.1 and statistics not working again.. the problem is..
Un... procedure call..

Do i need to replace my statistics.exe file to old one which is working?
I need fast reply.. pls care about this problem..thanks
