• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Subdomain question

I Hope this isn't too stupid :)

I created a subdomain in Plesk for one of my domains. All seemed well.

When you try to browse to that site, at www.mysubdomain.mydomain.com the browser automatically redirects you to www.mysubdomain.mydomain.com/site. Well there was no "site" subdirectory created by Plesk, nor can I see why the redirection has happened.

I tried to manually create a subdirectoy in vhosts under the domain, however then the browser re-directs you to www.mysubdomain.mydomain.com/site/site.

I have searched everywhere trying to find where in Plesk to change this setting with no luck.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Kerry

Hi,

It can be if "Publish site with SiteBuilder" is enabled for subdomain.
You can check it at hosting setup page of sd.

Also you can replace index.html file at httpdocs folder of subdomain to the old one(it is saved with .old extension)
