  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

sw-engine not running

Hello,

I have a 2 test boxes that are not publicly accessible - one runs 9.5.4 and one runs 10.4.4. The one on 9.x runs nicely and does what its (mostly) expected to do.

However when visiting the 10.x one, it constantly doesn't work in the browser because the sw-engine-cgi process is not running. I continuously have to keep starting the psa service to get it to respond. This becomes increasingly annoying and impossible to create a demo or provide access to a 3rd party (internal) to play around at their will since they cant start the server and it makes the product look bad.

service is stopped
# service psa status
psa is stopped

So I run service psa start and then do it again and it shows its running - but I come back in aprox 15 min and the service is stopped once again.

# service psa status
psa is stopped

as usual nothing useful in the log files

2012-02-23 14:07:47: (log.c.75) server started
2012-02-23 14:23:16: (log.c.135) server stopped

What gives?
