  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved System emails - receive html as attachment in Thunderbird

brainforge

Basic Pleskian
From a Centos 7.7 Plesk Obsidian 18.0.23 #2 server the HTML content of Plesk system emails no longer appear in the preview panel of thunderbird.
Instead the HTML appears as an attachment which has to be opened in order to read the message.
On an Android phone / tablet email app the content of the messages appear OK.

Examples of messages with this thunderbird issue include:
Could not issue/renew Let`s Encrypt certificates for *****
***** Package Update Manager notification
***** Notification of the site creation
***** Notification of the customer creation

However, messages from a Debian 8.11 Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 Update #80, server appear OK in Thunderbird - without any HTML content.

Message from the Centos server used to work fine, a few weeks ago. Suspect upgrade to Obsidian caused this.

I am also experiencing this. It is due to malformed email headers from Plesk. See here:

plesk-notifications-error-20200201.jpg

Both of the emails seen above are from Obsidian. But it was a recent change that broke something.

Hey Plesk admins can you make sure this gets fixed? Do we need to file a support ticket or will you forward this to the devs please?
