  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,
Once again, we have problems to add CNAME with underscores. It was solved years ago but now we're unable to add them so we cannot add the microsoft DNS records for DKIM:
selector1-DOMAIN-com._domainkey.DOMAIN.onmicrosoft.com
selector2-DOMAIN-com._domainkey.DOMAIN.onmicrosoft.com

Please report the issue here with all the necessary details and steps to reproduce.

...and it will be fixed like the underscore on NS-records which I reported 2 years ago and STILL has not been fixed.

The reason I want this is the creation of _acme-challenge.<domain> NS-records

I needed to write a cronjob which manipulates the DNS-files in /var/named/chroot/var/

All this because a programmer decides to ban underscores stating falsely that it's not RFC

It is RFC and it has ALWAYS been RFC

Does this also work for NS records?

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.46 Update 1

  • It is now again possible to add a CNAME record with underscore symbols on the “DNS Settings” screen. (PPP-58251)
