  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Hi all
i am new here this is my first postand i really need your help
I just moved my site over to a new host. Here I went with a Linux VPS (Virtual Private Server). Works great (nooooooo) . the Page load time is very very slow .
my old shared hosting faster 10 times

what i did ?
- in plesk creat client
- creat domain
- vreat database
- installed my back up site evrything went good
- installed my subdomain (just by creating subdomain in plesk)

thats all what i did .

and for the subdomain
if you tape anything you want
like (qsfsqfsd[dot]domain[dot]com)
you will access to the Default Page (the directory that was created by default with linux) not the the one i creat

my system info:

please any help

Unfortunatelly with this info cannot help, old server was shared hosting, dedicated, same VPS?
I feel that your site can be a quote large (heavy) and VPS cannot handle it.
Only if someone investigate it via SSH can see why is slow.
If you want, we can try to hunt it down for you.

Thanks lvalics for replay
i was in shared hosting and the problem was with the (RAM) i only have 32M
if i publish more than 6500 article the site crash
so everyday i have to unpublish 100 article and replaced by new one
and i got error 500 and disconnected from database whene we have more visitor on the site

i was going back yo my shared hosting
(the hoster support tell me that they dont support software problem
it's my problem.)

thanks lvalics i will be very greatful if you hunt it down
just tell me what you need

Thanks.

I am not sure that a VPS can handle a high number of users, depend on settings of course. Contact us at support at grafxsoftware.com and we can take a look.

i mean i worked before on sites with more visitor than this
with the same hosting i mean 10000 to 15000 visitor/day is nothing for that setting i guess.
i just open up the site 3 month ago

i am sending you message on grafxsoftware.com
but i dont know what info you need ?

Thanks

If I understand correctly, you only have 32Mb of RAM for your VPS? That's not enough for anything much even on a VPS (which are usually extremely good when it comes to memory use). I didn't even know anybody offered a VPS with so little memory.

Faris.

SSH details needed, as Faris mentioned, indeed VPS is not very good, I will see what is on server and how much you pay now, but I suggest to try a dedicated server at a low price.

OK, I think 256MB is not enough, memory need to have as largest possible, especially if you have a lot of queries in MySQL. Could be 512MB, but better 1GB. If is a memory problem. I wait details on mail to see.
