Hi,

We have a new plesk server, 7.6 installed.

When we look at Plesk Services Monitor, there's no PLESK SQL SERVER.

There's no psa directory in C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\MySQL\Data

And :

C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\MySQL\bin>mysql -P8306
ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

* but plesk control panel works correctly*

And when I look IIS, I can see that is plesk is using IIS for the control panel part.

Is the default installation or our datacenter mixed up?

Where can I find the plesk sql server?

same problem

Hi,

Did you find the solution? I am facing the same problem. There is no psa folder under Plesk\MySQL\Data.
Cannot connect to psa db on 8306, the error is:
"Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)"

Hello,

I think our admin has installed plesk using JET and now plesk is using psa.mdb which is in directory C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\db. We did not notice this and now we have more than 50 accounts on the server. Is there any way to convert it to MYSQL.. we do not intend to start from strach.

Thanks.
Murtaza.

Did you manage to find this out?

I would really appreciate if you share your solution if you were able to find.
We have exactly the same problem.
