Timeout when trying to download Plesk backups

Plesk version 10.20

I have a backup on my Plesk CP which is 1.8GB in size. When I click on the floppy icon to download the backup, it takes almost 5 minutes for the "Open" or "Save As" box to appear. Is anyone else having similar problems? I suspect this problem is at the application level however I'm not sure if it's a problem with Plesk or Apache.

I can download a 1.8GB file via FTP no problems.

I'm having a similiar problem, but it's when I use the download floppy icon in "File Manager."
