• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Timeshift with Scheduled Backups

Hi *,

After each performed task of "Scheduled Backup" backup time is shifting by 15 minutes on my Plesk 8.0.0.

Example:

Backup-time: 03:00h
Backup period: daily

Each backup is created 24h + 15m after the one before and those 15 minutes are added to the configured backup-time in "Scheduled Backup". The size of the created file is 17MB, so I don't think the system needs that time.

After 5 days the configuration has drifted to the following (in daily 15-minutes-steps):

Backup-time: 04:00h
Backup period: daily

This is annoying, for I have to manually reset the backup-time every day to the intended value.

Has anyone encountered this behaviour too? And - much better - found a solution?

should have spend more time with the search engine before.

thx a lot!
