  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Issue Tomcat Application marked as yellow not getting started.

BaijuM

New Pleskian
Windows 2012 R2 Server with Plesk Onyx 17.5

All java applications were working perfectly. Today the customer informed it was not working and when I checked, it is showing yellow circle beside the applications. When we try to restart the application, it is showing error "Error: Unable to start up Java application: Possible reason - Tomcat Java service is not currently running on the server.". Tried restarting Tomcat Server.

I run the below command, but the problem is not solved.
C:\Users\Administrator>"%plesk_dir%\\bin\\repair.exe" --reconfigure-tomcat

Can anyone suggest what should be the problem ??

What say the event viewer -> windows protocolls -> application if you try to start the service (services.msc)?
