After upgrading from 7.5. reloaded to Plesk 8.0 I am getting the following error messages

Any good ideas?? I already tried to uninstall Ioncube as was suggested in another thread but that doesn't help.

miraculously Plesk started to work. The only problem I have now is that apache won't restart, but looking into the history of the commands, there is nothing I did, nor did any helpdesk login. Amazing!!

If I look for httpd.pid it doesn't seem to exist

This is most likely an Ioncube problem.

Comment out the ioncube loader line in php.ini or in /etc/php.d/ioncube-loader.ini and it should work.

Are you running eAccelerator?

Thanks, that's exactly what I did and found somewhere else. I just had to adjust the settings in the php.ini to the right ioncube file since PHP was upgraded as well.

All works fine now.

I havent yet upgraded because the datacenter where i am is still not offering the keys for the upgrade, as soon as they do I will upgrade my servers to 8.0.0

For anyone following this up. Plesk 8.0.0 obviously installs a number of extra .ini files.

In php.ini ioncube-loader was already declared so there was a conflict with the declaration in the ioncube-loader.ini.

It's running smoothly now and I hope at least some people will be helped by this thread.
