• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

TITLE

[UI] Backup type option (Full or Incremental) gets reset when changing Back -up selection

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE

18.0.42 mu #1

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

The backup type option gets reset every time to Incremental if the option first has been set to Full and any change has been made to the backup selection (Mail messages, User files and databases).

See screen capture of issue for clarification:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1) In Plesk navigate backup manager.
2) Set backup Type option Full.
3) Uncheck the "Mail messages" checkbox
4) Notice how the backup Type option is reset to Incremental

ACTUAL RESULT

The backup type option gets reset every time to Incremental.

EXPECTED RESULT

As a user I would not expect the backup type option the be reset to Incremental every time a change is made to the backup selection. General expectation from a useability point of view (imo) would be that the choice/selection of the user is adhered to.
