Unable to Create databse user

When attempting to add a database user when the client name is a domain, I receive the error:

"The maximum must be greater than or equal to the minimum length, but -1 < 1"

I was able to get that far in chrome, firefox would not even let me type in the box

I am sure there is a simple workaround and this database was just for testing - I was able to create one on another account. This is probably a rare scenario and I do not require a resolution, just throwing it out there.
